FOREWORD 5 “Youngart; Banner Design and Video Art Contest”with the theme of “july 15 th Martyrs” has been held to support the scientific, technological and cultural developments that happened as a result of visual arts today, and also create awareness amongst the branches of Graphic design and video art with artists. The Banner design and video art contest which is held for the first time has aimed to create a visual memory purposes for future generations by creating and design artifacts of our nation, the strength of unity and solidarity against the coup represent the belief that in dependence during the July 15th coupattempt in 2016. By having an importance in Turkish political history, the contest of “July 15 th Martyrs” has aimed to perpetuate the memory of our martyred saints. Banner design art, has the duty to forward visual, aesthetic and artisticqualities as well as the oretical comments and a certain message. Video can be detected as the fallen version of art, graphicdesign, motion madefor a certain purpose. In the end, the video with a astrong conceptual aspects of banners can be created based on the dynamics of the society in which he lives of young people and values withought therefore comprise the meaning of indicators on the right banner or video and useeffectively. At theend of the contest,50 works determined by the selection Committee, including 4 videos and 46 poster design work with our , it is seen that our youth detects very good the “July 15 th Martyrs” and expressed it effectively. In this sense, July 15 th Martyrs on the Youngart: Banner Design and Video art competition Exhibition catalogue; Saintfaith of our nation a democracy and national unity on the upright posture of a draw with shining in our history as an exaple of the triumph of Democracy, especialley the young generations in the immortal memory of our martyrs and be good in order to be in library, your mind and waiting to find a place in your heart desires.
